Baby
Shower Game Ideas: |
|
|
|
Guess
the Baby Food:
-
Find a
piece of paper and a pen for every guest, around 10
different jars of baby food and plastic spoons;
basically, enough for everyone. (Make it more
challenging by getting jars with multiple ingredients
in it.)
-
Take the labels of the baby food jars and make sure
you take notes which flavor is in which jar.
-
Have the women taste each jar and guess the food.
-
The woman that has the most correct guesses is the
winner!
|
|
Don't say it:
-
Find enough safety pins
so that every guest has one.
-
When everyone has arrived, pass one (1) pin out to each guest.
-
The object of the game is to avoid saying the word
"baby". If you catch another guest saying "baby", you
get her pin.
-
The person with the most pins at the end of
the shower wins!
|
|
Guess the
dirty diaper:
-
Get 5-10 diapers and 5-10
candy bars; choose candy bars that have nuts, toffee,
caramel, etc.
-
Mark each diaper as 1, 2,
3, 4, etc.
-
Melt the candy bar and
place it in one of the diapers.
-
Have the guests smell,
touch and even taste the "poopy" diaper!
-
The person with the most
correct guesses is the winner!
|
|
Baby Scramble:
-
Choose 25 baby related
words and scramble the spelling (ex: pacifier=reiifpca).
-
Write all of the
scrambled words (without translation) on one sheet and
make copies for everyone prior to the shower.
-
Have the guests
unscramble the words.
-
The one who has the most
in 5 minutes is the winner!
|
|
Name the baby:
-
Using a sheet of paper,
write the parents' names on the top of the sheet (ex:
BobPatsy)
-
Make copies of this page
and pass one (1) sheet out to each guest.
-
Give the guests 1-2 minutes to see how many new baby names
can be created by using letters in the parents' names.
-
The guest with the most names
is the winner.
-
*Bonus points can go to the guest with the longest
name.
